In Digital Memory, Inherit the Great Spirit of the Anti-Japanese War
This year is the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Nearly 300 national – level anti – Japanese war memorial facilities, along with 80 themed exhibitions, are carriers for inheriting the anti – Japanese war spirit. Empowered by digital technology and intellectual property, they boost the inheritance of this spirit.
For instance, the “Justice Trial” exhibition in Shenyang uses digital tech for real – time sharing of anti – Japanese war relics. The Beijing Anti – Japanese War Memorial Hall offers an immersive experience, and the Hundred Regiments Campaign Memorial restores sites digitally and builds a relic protection system.
Experts propose strengthening intellectual property protection of red resources to maintain digital communication order and actively utilize these resources. Many red – themed cultural and creative products are launched this year. Activating historical scenes and developing cultural and creative products can inherit the spirit and drive local economy. Through innovation and empowerment, the anti – Japanese war spirit can be spread more widely.

Actual Dominant and Decision – Making Entities of the Alleged Infringing Technical Solution Are Considered Manufacturers of the Alleged Infringing Products
This news reports the final judgment of an invention patent infringement case by the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court. Yantai’s refrigeration company, the patent – holder, accused Weifang’s food company of using and Rongcheng’s freezing company of manufacturing, selling, and promising to sell alleged infringing products. The first – instance court ruled Weifang’s food company as the manufacturer. But the second – instance by the Supreme People’s Court found that Rongcheng’s freezing company provided core components, introduced suppliers, and dominated the technical solution, so it should be the manufacturer. Weifang’s food company, as a user, was not liable for manufacturing. The court also made the sole shareholder, Cui Moumou, bear joint liability for pre – change debts. Rongcheng’s freezing company was ordered to stop manufacturing and selling, and compensate Yantai’s refrigeration company 450,000 yuan in economic losses and 50,000 yuan in rights – protection expenses.
Trademark | Shanghai Intellectual Property Court: Final Appeal for “Da Shi Dai” Trademark Rights Successful
In an infringement case, Da Shi Dai (Shanghai) Catering Management Co., Ltd. sued Shanghai Atlantic Health & Entertainment Co., Ltd. Topway Group registered “Da Shi Dai” – related trademarks in Class 43, and Da Shi Dai Co. was authorized to use them exclusively and fight infringements. These trademarks are well – known.
Atlantic operated “Magic City Food Republic” using its business licenses. The “Shi Dai” in the sign is similar to the registered trademarks, likely to confuse the public, thus constituting trademark infringement.
Atlantic should bear civil liabilities. As actual losses and infringer’s profits were hard to determine, the first – instance court set compensation and rights – protection expenses at 508,090 yuan. The Shanghai Xuhui District People’s Court ordered Atlantic to stop the infringement, pay compensation, and eliminate the impact. The Shanghai Intellectual Property Court dismissed Atlantic’s appeal and upheld the original judgment on August 22, 2025.

Professional Knowledge: Macau Patent Invalidation System
This article analyzes Macau’s patent invalidation system, which has a dual – track model of administrative review first and judicial final judgment, typical of the civil law system. It compares with Hong Kong’s system. The core laws are Articles 129 – 135 of Decree – Law No. 97/99/M and relevant civil procedure provisions. The Macau Economic and Technological Development Bureau’s Intellectual Property Office is in charge. Any interested party can initiate administrative review on certain grounds. The process includes request and evidence submission, with the patentee having 30 days to respond. It usually takes 12 – 18 months. Appeals can be made to the Primary Court within 30 days after the administrative decision, and the simplified administrative litigation takes 6 – 12 months. Non – Portuguese evidence needs translation and certification. For patents extended from China, Macau’s review is independent. Enterprises should choose the jurisdiction based on patent type, market importance, and cost.
