Inner Mongolia Launches Patent Pre – examination Channels for Key Industrial Sectors
Inner Mongolia has launched patent pre – examination channels for key industrial sectors, notably enhancing examination efficiency. The authorization cycle for invention patents has been cut from an average of 16 months to 61 days. Biology and new materials are key industrial clusters in the region. Previously, key industries faced problems like long authorization cycles, low brand value, low patent conversion rates, and insufficient protection. To solve these, pre – examination channels for biology and new materials patents were opened. Recently, 27 invention patents of Baotou Jiangxin Micro – motor Technology Co., Ltd. were quickly authorized and transformed via the pre – examination channel, with tech conversion revenue over 100 million yuan. One patent filled a gap in Inner Mongolia’s rare – earth terminal application field. Moreover, Inner Mongolia set up an online “one – stop” intellectual property public service platform, integrating 17 business systems, and formed an offline service team to offer full – process services, shifting from “passive acceptance” to “active service”.

Hubei Dangyang Market Regulatory Bureau: Bringing Training to Townships and Empowering Rural Revitalization through Trademarks
On July 8, the Dangyang Market Regulatory Bureau in Hubei held its first on – site trademark training in Yuxiao Town, which was warmly received by over 40 participants from local farmers’ cooperatives and individual businesses.
Dangyang’s characteristic industries have developed quickly, yet many operators face issues like weak trademark awareness. To tackle this, the bureau set up a three – level service system. It conducts on – site research, compiles guides, and formulates training plans, using a “lecture + case + Q&A” model.
The first training covered four key aspects of trademarks. It laid a good foundation for the “trademark training in townships” activity. The bureau will finish training in all 10 towns (streets) in July. In the future, it will establish “trademark service contact points” for one – on – one services, promoting the combination of trademark strategy and rural revitalization and driving high – quality county – level economic development.

USPTO issues Order for Sanctions against foreign filing firm | USPTO
On June 13, 2025, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued a precedential administrative Final Order for Sanctions against Stelcore Management Services, LLC, a foreign filing firm. The firm was sanctioned for improper signature – entry and providing false information in trademark submissions. The order terminates relevant trademark application proceedings. The USPTO stated that improper signatures are uncorrectable and can invalidate applications or registrations. The false signature information prejudices the USPTO’s ability to register valid marks. The Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP) will be updated in November to incorporate this order to safeguard the integrity of the U.S. intellectual property system.
