Heilongjiang Daxing’anling Region Market Supervision Bureau: Strengthening High – value Patent Cultivation to Boost High – quality Economic Development
Recently, a 100,000 – yuan provincial financial subsidy for intellectual property – advantaged enterprises was transferred to Beiqishen Daxing’anling Xinlin Green Industry Co., Ltd., showing achievements in high – value patent cultivation in the Daxing’anling region. The Market Supervision Bureau has taken measures: improving the working mechanism, intensifying special cultivation actions, and promoting patent industrialization and pledge financing. It has guided 5 enterprises to be recognized as intellectual property – advantaged cultivation enterprises, getting 500,000 yuan in subsidies, and achieved multiple breakthroughs in transformation. Next, it will deepen the cultivation action, adhere to the “enterprises + universities and research institutions + government departments” mechanism, and focus on high – value patent technology transformation for local industry development.

Tianjin Intellectual Property Office Organizes Promotion Activities for the “Regulations of Tianjin City on Patent Promotion”
On November 7, 2025, the Tianjin Intellectual Property Office organized promotion activities for the “Regulations of Tianjin City on Patent Promotion”. A promotion plan was formulated and relevant activities were arranged, including on – site services, touring lectures, and seminars. These activities aim to explain the Regulations to intellectual property managers and leaders of innovation entities in Tianjin, and promote local policies on patent cultivation and application. The goal is to enhance patent awareness and improve the city’s patent management capabilities. The Regulations were adopted on September 24, 2025, and took effect on November 1, 2025, which is significant for strengthening intellectual property protection and promoting high – quality development in Tianjin.
Tianjin Releases Patent Navigation Reports for Four Key Industries
On October 30, the Tianjin Intellectual Property Office held a press conference for the 2025 first – batch patent navigation results of the city’s key industries. It released reports for four industries: green petrochemicals, intelligent connected vehicles, information technology innovation, and commercial aerospace. These reports analyzed the domestic and international technological competition landscapes and Tianjin’s development in these industries, covering aspects like industrial development status, innovation trends, patent layout, and risk prevention. They provided data and path references for industrial optimization, corporate R & D, and talent recruitment. Over 60 representatives from relevant departments, enterprises, parks, financial institutions, and service agencies attended. They thought the reports were comprehensive and offered practical guidance. The conference explained the value and application of the results and set up an exchange platform for cooperation, promoting result implementation and industrial collaborative innovation.

World Intellectual Property Organization’s International Design System Marks 100 Years: Homage to Timeless Classic Designs
On November 6, 2025, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) celebrated the centenary of its International Design System. The Hague System, established in 1925, simplifies designers’ work protection in up to 99 countries via a single procedure, with over 2 million designs registered. In 2024, there were 27,161 registrations, a nearly 7% increase from the previous year.
WIPO’s 2025 report shows that in 2024, the US, UK, and 22 EU economies invested over $685 billion in designs, nearly 10% of total intangible asset investment. WIPO Director General Daren Tang stressed promoting the system. An event co – hosted by WIPO, the Dutch Ministry, and the Benelux IP Office gathered officials, leaders, and experts to review cooperation and discuss the future. The Hague System has evolved and is vital for global businesses to enter the market.
EPO President highlights power of patent intelligence on Bloomberg TV
On November 7, 2025, EPO President António Campinos was interviewed on Bloomberg TV’s Daybreak Europe. He talked about opportunities and challenges in European technological development. The patent system was a key focus for enhancing European competitiveness, especially in AI where EPO patent applications have soared in the past decade. Campinos stressed patents’ role in turning tech breakthroughs into real – world impact. He also mentioned the EPO’s Deep Tech Finder, a tool integrating patent and business intelligence to spot promising European startups and help investors make informed decisions.
